The Star.

{the mighty angel} Like the angel in the 10th chapter of Revelation, this figure is standing with one foot on the land and one foot on the sea...

(Rev 10:1-3 KJV) And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven... and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, {3} And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

As we have seen throughout the Tarot, its symbols are in accord with those given us in the last book of the Bible, the Revelation. The seven stars encircling the area above the angel's head are reminiscent of the 7 stars in Revelation 1-3 which symbolize the seven churches.  The pyramid and its reflection cements the meaning: this is when the churches have matured and are ready to be joined with their Lord at His return... Thus the seven thunders are the seven churches ready to proclaim the last message of mercy to this world with power...

This card is a reminder that there is an end of all things...and that there will be men and women on earth who will not be fooled by the final deceptions of the antichrist and his false religion that will sweep over the world in its final times...

The twilight of earth's history is nearing...
