16. The Thunder-Struck Tower

aThe only Wonder of the Ancient
World Still Standing!

16. The Thunderstruck Tower, the Great Pyramid. Sometimes called the "Thunder-struck Tower", this card is plainly a picture of the Great Pyramid. There are two figures who are being thrown off the Pyramid by the lightning bolt that strikes the fabled structure. Who are these two powerful figures being jettisoned from the world's most famous monument?

And how can the card show a picture of the top of the Pyramid, since the Great Pyramid has been without a topstone from antiquity? The lines in he body of the Pyramid below indicate a top was never meant to be placed on the Pyramid. There is no record of antiquity saying a topstone was ever placed. The card is prophetic. A new golden topstone was to be placed on the Pyramid for the new millennium (2000) in a grand ceremony, in which representatives of the antichrist and false prophet were in attendance. (note: this ceremony was cancelled by the Egyptian government because of protest...for more info, contact the American Institute of Pyramid Research...) The lightning bolt from heaven symbolizes the Divine displeasure with the false powers who have usurped what should only belong to the Creator, the ΑΩ. The missing topstone of the Pyramid indicates that God's plans for man have not been fulfilled. Only the return of the Lord, the true Topstone, can fulfill the symbolism of a pyramidion at the top.

The usurpers do not speak for God, nor do they exhibit the heart of God. The Bible is plain that false religion would dominate the final scenes of earth’s history. In the end, before the return of Christ, their schemes will be upended. It is time now, before the final crisis, for the seeker to come to know the goodness of the Creator and His mercy.

The two figures being expelled from the place that should be reserved for God alone (symbolized by the topstone of the Pyramid) are two men we have met before in the Tarot sequence...The popish Master of the Arcanes (card 5) and the false prophet...(card 7). The antichrist and the false prophet. The doom we see pictured on this card is written in the book of Revelation:

But the beast was captured and with him the false prophet who did the miracles for the beast. The false prophet had used these miracles to trick those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his idol. The false prophet and the beast were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. (Rev 19:20)

Thus two ancient records agree. The Bible, and its much older relative, the Tarot deck, prophesy the destruction of the two great final false powers who get the world marching to their tune. When the music plays, don't dance in step. Unless you want card 16, The Thunder-Struck Tower, to be a snapshot of you! Follow a different star...
